The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
This is a USAC Manufacturing and Supply Chain role within Plant Operations. The preferred candidate will be mainly on site or in a hybrid work arrangement expected to be on-site at the plant up to 80% per week with flexibility based on deployment needs.
As the Plant Data & Costing Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Leading the business and enterprise level data decisions that are applicable to the site and deployment (UOM, batch determination, VC, PackSpec, etc.)
Lead/facilitate data readiness activities, focusing on the site, although addressing issues for broader deployment as needed.
Serves as primary contact for data site-level activities*, leading extended team(s) as appropriate.
Communicates and coordinates data project activity to super users, and stakeholders as appropriate.
Lead the site level costing approvals, by partnering with Corporate/Area Finance and Site Leadership.
Works closely with assigned Data Conversion Area SME and the RTR Area SME to execute the project plan, timing, and deliverables
Facilitate data scoping, mapping, construction, cleansing, costing, design validation, testing & conversion activities.
Develops Finance Leads and Operational Leadership to be effective first level on-Site support post deployment (training, enhancements, GSUN) in costing and
data related subjects: annual costing review and approval; annual inventory revaluation; variance reviews; line extensions; etc.
Support the data mapping activities with End-To-End data knowledge
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution and five (5) years of experience in Supply Chain, engineering, or ERP Deployment in a private, public, government or military environment
- Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and two (2) years of experience in Supply Chain, engineering, or ERP Deployment in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Knowledge of business, supply chain E2E processes
Other related assignments in manufacturing that would enhance cross-functional awareness of future state is a plus
Project Management skills, ability to execute a project plan for local site activities
Experience as an SAP user, SAP Super User or within an SAP-deployed work environment Detail oriented, strong communication, collaboration, project management and follow-through skills.
Experience in deployment in various plants and/or finance functions
Travel: May include up to 60% Domestic
