We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Architect with atleast 10+ years of experience leading developing, designing, implementing and leading system solution design. The candidate should be able to lead and participate in multiple projects.
Must have experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business
Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process
Demonstrated fluency in business processes and process differentiation
Must have prior experience to capture detail requirements and drive solution recommendations.
Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders
Serve as a liaison between Operations and IT to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancement and implementations
Assist with testing and be a single point to stay on top of issue resolutions/escalations.
Create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries and updates.
Support system conversions, upgrades, enhancements
Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results.
Candidate should have ERP implementation background and retail solution implementation will be a plus.
Provide thought leadership to monitor, track and review delivery of solutions to ensure adherence to standards and best practices
Ensure end-to-end solution integrity, including integrations with front and back-office applications point of sale (Prophet 21), Oracle ERP, Legacy systems and 3rd party software
Proactively communicate risks associated with solution design integrity to key stakeholders
Drive the adoption of standard work processes, standard application functionality and data standards
The candidate should be accountable to manage vendors, hold vendors accountable to adhere to SLA’s and drive operation excellence.
10+ years of software development and deployment experience
Knowledge of integration best practices and integration technology; Oracle Platforms, Retail Platforms, data warehouse, data hubs, etc
Experience with ancillary application, agile, monitoring, log analytical and security tools (Jira, Splunk, Informatica MDM, IDQ, PowerCenter, Database (Relational, Non-relational), Oracle, SQL Server, PL/SQL, .Net, Java, C Share)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and resolution of issues with reports and data models.
Experience in software development life cycle.
Experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
Experience in Design and architecture review.
Completion of at least two large software ERP implementations in the role of techno-functional resource
Experience working with large scale enterprise, matrix organization with Front/Back Office
Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate how business functionality requirements can be achieved with any toolset
Ability to evaluate and recommend best practices for solutions based on prior experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
Ability to handle multiple tasks independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting.
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment with a team in diverse environment with multiple stake holders
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Travel up to 15% in the future may be required
Should be familiar with audit and compliance, work with external auditors to ensure the systems/processes are compliant.
