nVent Compensation Manager in St Louis Park, Minnesota

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

In this position, you will get to:

· Perform an essential global compensation partner role, providing high-quality internal customer support and ensuring nVent’s pay programs support the business’ needs and priorities

· Lead complex global or regional competitive projects and collaboratively develop innovative solutions for compensation-related challenges

· Drive performance-driven and competitive pay through advanced reporting, comparative analyses, presentations, and other decision-making tools

· Build relationships and rapport with HR colleagues, business leaders, and multiple cross-functional partners using strong technical, communication, and collaboration skills

· Guide job evaluations and pay-related decisions through development and deployment of standard compensation plans, tools, and guidelines

· Develop and deliver presentations and training on compensation programs, processes and data to multiple audiences

· Support mergers & acquisitions (M&A) as well as reorganization activities, as required

· Ensure ongoing compliance with compensation guidelines as well as legal and statutory requirements, globally

YOU HAVE:

o Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, business or other related field

o MBA or Master’s degree in Finance or Human Resources a plus

o Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification a plus

· Previous experience in or with:

o 7+ years of professional experience preferred

o Analyzing compensation programs (base pay, allowances, total target cash, etc.) for effectiveness and market competitiveness

o Complex analytics and market benchmarking

o Broad Based Compensation or Human Resources experience

o Facilitating annual compensation planning processes

o Human Resources (HR) systems configuration and reporting, Workday preferred

o Manufacturing experience or experience with hourly production compensation a plus

o Global compensation experience a plus

o Executive presence a plus

· Skills / abilities:

o Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of tools especially Excel, PowerPoint as well as Microsoft Teams

§ Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical skills

§ Intermediate or Advanced Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

§ Intermediate or Advanced HRIS systems experience, Workday preferred
