Performance Food Group HR Generalist in St. Louis, Missouri

Job Description:

The HR Generalist position will perform the following duties:

Talent Acquisition

  • Lead talent acquisition activities including but not limited to posting requisitions, providing timely communication updates with candidates and our internal departments throughout the process, screening and interviewing applicants, extending offers and ensuring all pre-employment testing has been completed.

  • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation.

Leave Of Absence

  • Coordinate FMLA, STD, LTD and other leave programs information in accordance with Corporate contacts.

  • Track leave of absence claims.

  • Conduct interactive conversations.


  • Point of contact for any benefit related questions. Follow-up with Corporate benefits on any issues that associates have with benefits.


  • Serve as the back-up to payroll (weekly and biweekly).

  • Assists in maintaining all systems including ADP, Kronos, UKG, BrassRing etc.

  • Assist in completing monthly union reports as needed.


  • Create and maintain all confidential documentations, records and employee files.

  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy of data.

  • Ensure the offboarding process is handling in a timely and accurate manner.

Engagement And Culture

  • Participate in and host employee roundtable events during all shifts

  • Lead employee engagement committee and events throughout the year

  • Analyze employee engagement survey and determine action plan with VP of HR
