We are hiring a Software Engineer to join our growing Shared Services Tools Team within the Enterprise Integration & Services department. You will have the opportunity to work with other Jack Henry teams to build them solutions that will improve their ability to serve their customers. You will work as part of a technical team but will need to able to work independently as well.

This position can be based to work out of any Jack Henry office or remote from any US location.

The salary range for this position will be between $75,000-$115,000 depending on candidate experience and location.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Completes product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug verification and resolution.

  • Performs system analysis and programming activities which may require extensive research and analysis.

  • Provides technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery until the retirement of the application.

  • Ensures timely, effective, and quality delivery of software into production, both at an individual and team level.

  • Develops and tests applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.

  • Creates required technical documentation.

  • Collaboratively works with customer and team to resolve or diagnose defects.

  • Performs release validation testing and beta support for projects.

  • Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.

  • May contribute to product architecture.

  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.

  • 1 year experience writing PowerShell.

  • Experience with REST.

  • Experience with APIs.

  • Ability to travel up to 5% to attend JHA meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Familiar with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.

  • Angular.

  • PHP.

  • Drupal.

  • GoLang.

  • Experience writing C#.

  • SQL.
