General Description

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, assigning, and monitoring the process of a higher complexity. Will be responsible for implementation and training of newly completed projects. Keeps the Enterprise Projects Manager informed regarding his/her area of responsibility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing project documents, requirements, and workflow plans on complex projects. Also responsible for ensuring these projects are delivered on time according to the schedule, and that objects are achieved, and project requirements are resolved. This duty is performed about 25% of the time.

  • Completes a wide variety of tasks including external correspondence, internal memorandums, reports, forms, and tables. Responsible for preparing project documents, requirements, and quality control standards. This duty is performed about 25% of the time.

  • Communicates with Project Managers, end users, vendors, and applicable employees regarding project issues and status of projects on a regular basis. Organizes, plans and conducts meetings with stakeholders to ensure projects are on schedule. This duty is performed about 20% of the time.

  • Once systems are implemented, this position may be responsible for coordinating initial application support queries, training, and problem analysis. This duty is performed about 15% of the time.

  • Responsible for conducting limited business process analysis, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analysis in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives. This duty is performed about 10% of the time.

  • Responsible for training, coaching and mentoring new associate project managers. Communicate procedures and introduces them to workflows and systems utilized by the department. This duty is performed about 5% of the time.

  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance, punctuality and personal appearance. Reads, writes, and communicates in a clear and efficient manner via various types of correspondence, such as, in person, phone, email, letters, etc. Adheres to all company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable banking rules, regulations, and laws (including BSA/AML).

  • Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Associates Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience and/or training.

  • Regular use of desktop/laptop computer, basic operating systems, and specialized software systems.

  • Basic experience with alphanumeric data entry, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Processing

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

    Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

  • Required: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or Project+

  • Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Analyst Certification
