Join the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team at Jack Henry and Associates as a Senior Finance Leader. Our team provides end-to-end financial expertise that covers the entire spectrum of budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, financial reporting, performance reporting dashboards, ad-hoc analyses and strategic planning. We are a strategic business partner that provides actionable financial insight and helps drive profitable growth by being an integral part of the business decision making process.

This role will have significant interaction and provide direction to leadership as well as key stakeholders across Operations, Finance and Accounting. We are looking for a dynamic, self-driven individual contributor with an advanced level of financial analysis skills and prior experience successfully leading highly complex areas of the P&L. This position can be based out of the following Jack Henry office locations: Lenexa, KS; Springfield, MO; Allen, TX or remote from any US location.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in Finance or a related field.

  • Previous experience in financial leadership roles that have been responsible for highly complex and critical areas of the organization.

  • Must be able to travel up to 10%.


  • MBA and/or CPA or other related professional certification desired. Focus will be Pricing and Revenue Analysis

  • Experience with OneStream, Tableau and People soft is a plus.

  • Prior experience in a Financial or Technology Services organization is a plus.

  • Possess strong analytical and data management skills; summarizes and presents key financial data for use in decision making.

  • Effectively plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload to meet aggressive deadlines.

  • Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proven people management or leadership skills that translate into the ability to directly supervise, direct and motivate resources,

  • Possess strong business acumen and desire to strengthen knowledge of the business/industry.

  • Solid understanding of GAAP.

  • Ability to make recommendations in order to improve efficiency of processes and procedures.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and collaboration tools.


  • Responsibility for end-to-end P&L management including month-end financial close, annual budget and monthly forecasts.

  • Performs highly complex and specialized financial analyses on revenue, expense, operating results and cash flows that drive budgets/forecasts and insures alignment with corporate targets.

  • Ensures GAAP compliant financial statements in conjunction with maintaining effective internal controls and policies and procedures.

  • Provides day-to-day support to the leadership team, acting as consultant and advisor providing supplementary analysis based on emerging trends and business developments.

  • Assists operations managers with financial processes and procedures including budgeting, forecasting, headcount and CapEx

  • Coordinates and monitors the monthly activities of the Accounting Shared Services team as they impact the financial close.

  • Prepares business cases and financial models that evaluate and prioritize investment proposal requests for capital expenditures, projects and acquisitions based on ROI.

  • Provides research on industry trends, regulatory impacts, competitors and other business impacts.

  • Reviews business and financial processes and makes recommendations that drive efficiencies, improves accuracy and insures that internal controls are in place and operating effectively.
