This programming position is within our ancillary-systems team, which is one of our most critical areas. This area handles all custom interfaces, anything to do with jXperience, jXchange, escalated networking, communications, and/or systems issues that arise at our in-house sites. This position is an escalation point for our technical support representatives (TSR’s) to go to when they are needing assistance in specific programming areas. This includes answering questions, software analysis, debugging issues or problems that may arise and providing for custom-coding requests that may originate from the customers. This position can be worked remotely within the United States.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Develops programming code for new and/or existing software enhancements.

  • Troubleshoots and debugs existing code.

  • Tests code and fixes to ensure quality.

  • Develops conversion and system implementation plans; implements newly created code and fixes into existing software.

  • Provides programming support for various interfaces.

  • May complete project bids and/or work effort estimates. Interacts with customers to gather system requirements.

  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

  • 18 months of experience programming in Java, Javascript, C#, or ASP.NET from a professional or educational background.

  • Good communication and customer interaction skills.

  • Able to meet aggressive deadlines.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Experience in legacy computer languages, such as COBOL or BASIC.

  • Experience working in the banking industry.

  • Working knowledge of applicable Change Management System.
