Job Description:

As a Procurement Analyst I, you will manage processes, functions, and relationships related to pricing, procurement, delivery and support of goods and services. You will consult with internal and external clients to determine procurement needs, develop and investigate supply sources and issue request for quotations, proposals or bids. You will be responsible for selecting and negotiating with suppliers to achieve best pricing and competitive delivery and payment terms, ensure purchases remain within budget and on schedule and identify and resolve contractual issues. You will also be responsible for developing supplier relationships and creating reports and maintain filing system for invoices, returns, orders, requisitions, and other general documentation.

Basic Qualifications

At least 4 years total combined higher education and related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance

  • At least 1 year experience in vendor management

  • At least 1 year experience in procurement or supply chain

  • At least 1 year experience in accounting


  • Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Springfield, MO area

  • Willing to travel up to 20% in the Springfield metro as needed

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
