Great Southern Bank Loan Operations Software Support Specialist I in Springfield, Missouri

General Description

The Loan Operations Software Support Specialist is responsible for providing the successful implementation, oversight and management of specialized lending software, specifically the nCino Bank Operating System. Responsible for providing ongoing support and maintenance of the software, ensuring that requests from internal customers for enhancements and modifications are reviewed and completed in a timely manner. Keeps the Loan Operations Support Supervisor and Loan Operations Manager informed regarding the status of ongoing projects and concerns affecting his/her area of responsibility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships and communication with all levels of internal customers within the organization, including setting up various dashboards, views and reports for end users, and troubleshooting reported issues. This duty is performed about 30% of the time.

  • Responsible for providing upfront and ongoing training and instruction to end users on all aspects of the software. May perform group training or individual training as well as written/online training courses. This duty is performed about 30% of the time.

  • Provides support for the nCino Bank Operating System software. Specifically, serves as a liaison between nCino representatives and the bank, logging cases for issue tracking and resolution, staying up-to-date with all upcoming software updates and enhancements, and testing/documenting all changes in the sandbox environment. This duty is performed about 20% of the time.

  • Works closely with Network Administration and App Support to evaluate, document, and maintain software enhancements and changes. Receives, records, and prioritizes issues reported by end users while escalating to the appropriate channels when necessary. This duty is performed about 10% of the time.

  • Assists the management team with writing and updating department procedures to incorporate the use of the software including any changes over time. Works closely with management and team leaders to establish procedural needs. This duty is performed about 10% of the time.

  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance, punctuality and personal appearance. Reads, writes, and communicates in a clear and efficient manner via various types of correspondence, such as, in person, phone, email, letters, etc. Adheres to all company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable banking rules, regulations, and laws (including BSA/AML).

  • Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.

    Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED

  • College degree is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 12 to 18 months of related experience

  • Regular computer support, basic software support, database analysis, and installation

  • Intermediate experience with alphanumeric data entry, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to computer rate, ratio, and percent.

    Travel Requirements

    Will be required to occasionally travel to other areas within the Great Southern Bank footprint for communication/training purposes. Additionally, will be required to travel up to two times per year for training/software conferences.
