MassMutual Product Owner in Springfield, Massachusetts

The Opportunity:

This position is responsible for strategic roadmap planning, documentation, and execution of our Marketing Data Assets and related marketing initiatives ensuring all outcomes meet the high-quality expectations of our business and technology partners ensuring aligning with MarTech architecture and technology and enterprise Data management and delivery practices.

The Impact:

This Product Owner will have the opportunity to work on technical projects and engage in the following types of work:

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in areas of strategy, management, administration, and configuration of Marketing Data management and delivery.

  • Ideate, pitch, execute and deliver solutions that help business achieve expected time to value, time to market, and ROI.

  • Collaborate with developers, data engineering and business partners to ensure consistency and robustness across all Data Solutions when building Data pipeline and system integration across internal and external systems.

  • Collaborate with vendors, SA, Tech Lead and EA to ensure consistency and robustness across MarTech architecture alignment to ensure scalability and adoption.

  • Partner with business and technology partners across organization to craft future platforms adoption and use cases

  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively to meet delivery expectations.

  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot new and existing capabilities.

  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to develop and execute data initiatives that align with business objectives and goals.

  • Communicate with stakeholders, including business partners, and working teams to make sure the goals are clear, and the vision is aligned with business objectives.

  • Manages expectations in order to create a backlog with items that will likely get realized and excluding ‘waste’.

  • Backlog prioritization, Sprint execution and UAT testing.

  • Release planning and stakeholder communication.

  • Analyzes the feasibility of and develop requirements to support platform adoption and create new business capabilities.

The Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Big Data, SQL, ETL, Data Analysis, Data Mapping and System Integration

  • 3 or greater years of experience as a business analysis, project management or similar role in the marketing and data space.

  • Solid understanding of marketing data, data driven marketing, data engineering, data modeling, ETL, information architecture, integrated technologies, and digital marketing

  • Experience gathering client requirements and translating them to actionable plans based on Product Management best practices
