MassMutual Investment Product Management Consultant in Springfield, Massachusetts

The Opportunity

We’re seeking an Investment Product Consultant to join the Product team within the MML Investors Services Broker Dealer “MMLIS”. In this position, you’ll be primarily responsible for the management of the Brokerage Platform, Direct Advisory programs and Manager Referral programs.

The Team

The mission of the MMLIS Product team is to provide competitive and expansive product offerings and solutions that meets the need of our advisors and their clients. The team is currently comprised of seven experienced individuals, who specialize in certain areas, but also are agile in adapting to different roles on the team when needed. Collaboration, teamwork, and open communications make this team a reliable resource in creating and enhancing product offerings and solutions for more than 8,000 advisors. We are unique in our focus on building MassMutual’s wealth management organization into a leading provider of investment products and services with over 53 billion in assets under management today.

The Impact:

As an Investment Product Consultant, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Maintenance of the Mutual Fund and ETF buy list

  • Management of the direct and brokerage 529 product offering

  • Execution of share class conversions across the Wealth Management Services platform

  • Day to day Management of the Direct Advisory and Manager Referral programs

  • Updating and maintaining the Direct Advisory and Manager Referral programs’ policy and procedure guides in collaboration with operations, legal, compliance

  • Oversight of the Product mailbox

The Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in wealth management or asset management

  • Currently hold Series 7 or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Strong project management skills

  • Creative problem-solving skills

  • Pro-active, self-starter with ability to organize, prioritize and execute various projects across multiple functional areas simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

The Ideal Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a product management role within wealth management or asset management
