Geneva Woods Pharmacy is a wholly owned subsidiary of CVS Health Corporation. Directly, and through our subsidiaries, we provide a broad array of pharmacy-related services to long term care facilities and to other customers in the health care environment. We believe the role of Customer Service Assistant will present you with such an opportunity, as you will deliver top notch customer service to patients, nurses and health care providers. As part of the Long Term Care team, you will work closely with internal departments to research medication order issues and facilitate their resolution to ensure that each customer has a positive experience.

Position schedule: Mon - Fri, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, plus some weekends as needed.

You will:

  • Take incoming calls answering questions and routing to appropriate party if needed.

  • Triage incoming documents to the appropriate locations.

  • Make calls to customers providing status information on orders.

  • Make calls to providers following up with refill requests.

  • Fax out information for refills as needed. Make phone calls to providers to follow-up on refills.

Superb interpersonal and communication skills are needed in order to effectively interact with facility and internal staff. Successful Customer Service Assistants will be detail oriented and have excellent analytical skills. Understanding computers and feeling comfortable navigating through several systems at a time is also needed, as well as the ability to work independently, meet deadlines and be flexible.

Required Qualifications

Washington State Pharmacy Assistant License required prior to starting work.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous telephone customer service experience preferred.

Previous pharmacy experience preferred.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
