An opportunity has arisen for a Technician position to join our Engineering Department in Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Maintaining and repairing
Lighting and power distribution systems and equipment
Electrical equipment and appliances
Heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems and equipment
To maintain and repair all electrical equipment and appliances.
Hot and cold-water systems and equipment
Rainwater and sewage systems and equipment
Catering equipment
Recreational systems and equipment
Audio-visual equipment
Carrying out
Minor building, carpentry and decorating works as required
Installation works as required
Recording job requests, defects and works carried by operations manual
Following the correct procedure for the requisition and issue of spare parts and materials based on the departmental operations manual
Adhering to the health and safety at work regulations
Maintaining clean workplace
Providing cover for absent colleagues when required
Staying on call in case of emergency within the property
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Professional background in MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) or civil work issues
Professional capabilities in the field
Flexibility of doing tasks outside of the field of expertise Flexibility of doing tasks outside of the
1-2 years experience in a similar role
