An opportunity has arisen for a Technician position to join our Engineering Department in Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

Maintaining and repairing

• Lighting and power distribution systems and equipment

• Electrical equipment and appliances

• Heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems and equipment

• To maintain and repair all electrical equipment and appliances.

• Hot and cold-water systems and equipment

• Rainwater and sewage systems and equipment

• Catering equipment

• Recreational systems and equipment

• Audio-visual equipment

Carrying out

• Minor building, carpentry and decorating works as required

• Installation works as required

• Recording job requests, defects and works carried by operations manual

• Following the correct procedure for the requisition and issue of spare parts and materials based on the departmental operations manual

• Adhering to the health and safety at work regulations

• Maintaining clean workplace

• Providing cover for absent colleagues when required

• Staying on call in case of emergency within the property

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Professional background in MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) or civil work issues

• Professional capabilities in the field

• Flexibility of doing tasks outside of the field of expertise Flexibility of doing tasks outside of the
