Abbott Product Manager in Shanghai, China

Core Job Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Responsible for consumer insight, business learning and challenge translation into annual brand strategy and plan.

  • Responsible of full channel brand planning on brand building and activation, including offline/in store activation, online/digital strategy, and cascading down to channel counterparts.

  • Responsible for business diagnosis and brand KPI scorecard management, not limited to brand sales, market share, BHT trackers and key brand KPIs to help optimize brand plan

  • Responsible for brand communication masters and toolkit development based on target audience insight.

Execution excellence on brand building, including communication and activation

  • Management of brand communication materials development, for Digital, e-Commerce and offline channels, with high quality to enhance brand equity and messaging.

  • Ensure all communication materials compliant to company POSM policy and related external regulation and policy.

  • Responsible for A&P budget management and evaluate brand communication&campaign efficiency and effectiveness to optimize related investment for better ROI

Cross functional collaborations

  • Closely work with channel partners including TMKT, media, digital, EC, sales, and professional education team for developing channel activation plans and demand forecast

Product development

  • Co-work with NPD team and related cross-function teams for new product development

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field – e.g. FMCG category is preferred. Trainee preferred.

Minimum Experience/Training Required

Experience:

  • 3-5 years and above working experience, minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing position (Brand Marketing preferred)

  • Must be able to demonstrate a successful performance record in FMCG industry or related areas.

  • Understanding of financial principles such as budget control. Ability to analyze sales administration technical data. And proven track records in managing medical channel operation funds, allocating resource to support business development needs.

  • Managed multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

Technical skills:

  • Strong understanding of Kids nutrition or food sales & marketing and gain brand & category knowledge.

  • Knowledge of effective communication and how to impact and influence people

  • Strong mastery of computer and analytical skills.

  • Good oral, reading & writing communication skills in Chinese as well as in English.

Interpersonal skills:

  • Leadership, problem solving, team player, co-operative, open & positive attitude
