Procurement Specialist
Gardner Denver/Ingersoll Rand, a leading manufacturer of compressors and blowers, has an immediate opening for a Procurement Specialist at our Sedalia, MO facility. Essential functions of this position include: Purchasing functions related to a specific area, negotiating prices with vendors, analyzing supplier trends & resolving supplier issues.
Experience/Education required include:
Purchasing, negotiating and analytical skills.
Ability to effectively develop good working relationships with all levels within the organization as well as suppliers, and customers.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office & detail oriented.
Experience/Education preferred include:
Bachelor’s degree in management, business or related.
Purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
