Position Summary

CVS Health has an exciting opportunity to join our PBM Finance Enablement team as a Sr. Reporting Analyst within our Data, Analytics, and Automation team. CVS Health strives to continuously innovate around how we report and analyze data, improve operational efficiency, and deliver outstanding customer service.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining standard and ad-hoc regulatory reporting. You will work with Encounter Reconciliation and Encounter Relationship Management teams to enhance their processes through accurate and timely reporting. You will continuously improve quality control and accuracy of reported data, increase reporting efficiency, and look for ways to further automate Medicaid Encounter reporting activities.

You will mentor teammates on the Claims and Encounter Management concepts.

You will report to the Reporting Manager within the PBM Finance Data, Analytics, and Automation team. This is a hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review MCO/Client Requests with internal and external partners to translate them into clear reporting requirements.

  • Ensure accuracy and quality of the deliverables, applying high standards for quality control to all reporting and analytic work.

  • Ensure consistent and clear documentation for production-ready reporting solutions.

  • Handle, communicate, and escalate issues (as needed) in a timely manner so as not to impact client delivery and regulatory deadlines.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation of new and/or existing reporting solutions, tracking completion of action items, resolving issues, and mitigating risks.

  • Continuously evaluate/evolve processes, best practices, and tools around data and reporting.

  • Lead by example to inspire a positive attitude, engagement, and professional growth.

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, curiosity, collaboration, and innovation.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience supporting reporting, analytics, or automation projects

  • 3+ years of experience writing scripts in SQL and/or SAS

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with any of these a plus: Python, R, Alteryx, Trifacta, Linux OS, GCP/ AWS/ Azure

  • Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) and/or Medicaid experience

  • Experience in highly regulated industry and compliance environment

  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Thinking and Six Sigma

  • Experience working with IT partners to deploy production-level reporting solutions

  • Proven ability to work in the agile environment

  • Strong working knowledge of Office 365 applications

  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,700.00 - $102,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
