CVS Health Network Initiatives Senior Advisor in Scottsdale, Arizona

Job Description

As the Network Initiatives Senior Advisor, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and the ongoing operational management of key existing and emerging initiatives focused on Performance Networks which includes medication adherence, closing gaps, and other key criteria. A particular focus will be on client-specific efforts to evaluate the effectiveness and scalability of products and strategies promoting performance through a network of pharmacies. You will be developing key components of conceptual ideas into the functional building blocks of product offerings and manage these components through implementation and scaling into profitable and operationally viable products. Your work will require close coordination with a series of internal partners and stakeholders as well as with external vendors and providers. Some of your key responsibilities will include:- Working on the development, implementation, and management of Performance Network issues components to successfully bring to launch - Leading the processes that drive new network performance programs, products, and processes to increase results and reduce costs- Implementing the new initiatives that may impact multiple areas across the enterprise including the Enterprise Adherence team - Collaborating across various areas in Retail Administration as well as Legal, Account Services, Marketing, Brand Compliance, etc. - Developing internal and external relationships, reviews reporting, and engages in monthly meetings to drive initiatives to completion - Partnering with clients and others from within the enterprise to achieve the success of network initiatives - Developing performance networks aligned with to help quality metrics that focus on improving client performance ratings such as Stars- Reviewing, assisting, and mentoring the Networks Advisors and other team membersTo be successful, you will need to either bring with you, or quickly attain working knowledge of retail pharmacy and all Caremark market segments. Your success will be driven by your ability to independently drive network outcomes with minimal guidance. You will need to successfully implement programs and initiatives internally and externally.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience working with retail pharmacies and knowledge of pharmacy processes* At least 5 years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and to identify, analyze and solve practical problems * 5 or more years working with MS Excel spreadsheets and a strong working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of client set up activities and claims processing flow* Strong working knowledge of pharmacy network operations and adjudication processes across CVS Caremark platforms * Experience conceptualizing and developing creative solutions in ambiguous situations* A good understanding of healthcare plans and benefits for provider/payer needs * Knowledge of NCPDP transactions, Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan Requirements, and Network Rebate transactions * Project management experience* Strong organizational and analytical skills* Well developed leadership skills and competencies* Experienced independent judgment and initiative* Knowledge of client set up activities and claims processing flow

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required* Masters degree preferred* Equivalent Combination of education and experience may be considered
