Position Summary

This role follows a hybrid working schedule of three days onsite and two days remote per week

As a Project Manager within the Pharmacy Services (PS) Finance Innovation and Value Ena bl e m e n t team, you’ll lead cross-functional initiatives focused on Customer Reporting and Data Ena bl e m e n t . Your responsibilities will span change management, process improvement, and customer reporting. Collaborating closely with IT project management teams (at times) you’ll drive innovation to enhance customer service and operational efficiency at CVS Health.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to document scope, objectives , and success criteria .

  • Provide regular updates as needed throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Develop and manage project budgets in alignment with stakeholders.

  • Obtain necessary approvals and handle budget changes as required .

  • Create and update project plans , ensuring alignment with assigned work.

  • Lead working sessions to identify tasks, resources, and dependencies.

  • Utilize techniques like PERT for logic validation and enhance readability of Gantt charts.

  • Maintain a regular schedule of technical and status update meetings .

  • Utilize agendas, status packages, meeting minutes, and a RAID log (Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions) for project execution.

  • Develop plans to address escalations raised by the project team or noted in the RAID.

  • May review the approach with the manager before engaging colleagues to resolve issues.

  • Deliver projects using Predictive (waterfall), Agile, and Hybrid approaches .

  • Coach others in these methodologies.

  • Initiate and oversee multiple projects (small, medium, or large) from request to validation.

  • Manage project budget, scope, resources, and plan .

  • Develop expertise when engaged in multiple projects across a common platform.

  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

  • Provide feedback from project engagements on what works well and areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with leadership to prioritize and implement improvements in processes, tools, and reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 + years of experience leading project management initiatives

  • 6+ years of work experience in financial and / or service operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with various Project Management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, XP, etc.)

  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma

  • Experience in healthcare industry, including health insurance, PBM or pharmacy services

  • Experience in highly regulated industry and compliance environment

  • Experience with complex , inter-connected systems and business processes

  • Experience working in a matrix environment

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) C ertification or similar

EducationBachelors degree required or equivalent years of related experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $139,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
