Position Summary

This position is with the Health Care Business Solutions Team. This individual will be dedicated to the support of one of our Health System customers located in Pennsauken, NJ. This individual will act like an extension of the Benefit Staff for Aetna’s products and services. They will learn various aspects of the customer's organization through technology training, hands-on learning, and office site visits. They will effectively interact with the customer as a single point of contact (SPOC) for escalated member issues and complex global issues to include, but not limited to claims, eligibility and benefits. This individual will work with not only Benefit Staff but customer employees, staff & other customer departments related to Benefits Administration and look for ways to improve office work flow process. They will understand and be able to instruct on the company’s benefits policies as well as the laws governing mandatory insurance coverage in order to comply with legal requirements and to establish competitive benefit programs.

They will collaborate with operations team, account management and other points of contacts throughout the organization to identify plan-specific issues nd implement action plans to address account performance. They will provide technical support to external and internal constituents on issues, products as well as offer education on Aetna’s tools and resources. Location for the role is flexible

Required Qualifications

  • Understanding of Aetna Medical plan benefits, eligibility and/or claims systems.

  • Effective verbal and written communications skills with both customers and teammates.

  • Strong critical thinking, time management and organizational skills.

  • Travel required 10-25% (Possible overnight travel)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with claim/call center environment, or Plan Sponsor Service experience.

Education

  • Bachelor' Degree or equivalent work experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$18.50 - $38.82

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
