Alaant ESOP Analyst in Saratoga Springs, New York

Alaant is excited to recruit an ESOP Analyst for our clients growing Financial Services team!

As the newest ESOP Analyst, you will be part of the specialized group that delivers comprehensive trustee services to their clients. In this role, you will work closely with ESOP client advisors, supporting key processes such as valuation analysis, reviewing reports, and managing annual trustee functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to deepen their expertise in ESOP trustee services and financial analysis while contribution to a growing and collaborative team.

  • The salary is up to $80,000, based on experience, plus bonus!

Responsibilities for the ESOP Analyst role:

  • You will assist in reviewing clients’ quarterly financial statements to monitor their financial health, summarizing results, and communicating key findings to ESOP client advisors.

  • Facilitate the review and approval process for annual company stock valuations, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and regulatory standards.

  • Document client meetings (primarily virtual), ensuring clear communication and follow-ups on action items.

  • Extract and analyze financial data from business valuation reports using excel, highlighting significant insights for further review.

  • Review and summarize quarterly Board of Directors meeting minutes, identifying key actions and any items requiring follow-up.

  • Lead or assist with ad hoc projects, providing value to both the team and clients through strategic contributions.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements for the ESOP Analyst role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial analysis, valuation, fiduciary services, or related field.

  • Strong understanding of financial statements, with the ability to analyze and interpret metrics.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and a knowledge of Microsoft Access is a plus!

  • Must be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines to meet client needs.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • A self-starter with a willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
