Alaant Director of Development and Fundraising in Saratoga Springs, New York

Hours and Benefits for the Director of Development and Fundraising:
$70,000 to $90,000 a year based on experience level
PTO, holidays off, & sick time
Health, Vision, and Dental benefits
Responsibilities for the Director of Development and Fundraising:
Identify and develop business support and corporate sponsorship
Maximize the community awareness and revenue streams necessary for a strong foundation
Plan, direct and evaluate all major special events in the community
Oversee two (2) direct reports; the Communications/Social Media Coordinator and the Special Events Coordinator
Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process
Build and maintain relationships with clients
Work with other departments to promote individuals, staff, programs and the organization in general, through PR and marketing, networking and strategies to heighten awareness
Participate in Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, Association of Fundraising Professionals and other appropriate business and professional groups
Reports to the CEO
Requirements for the Director of Development and Fundraising:
Five (5)+ years of progressive experience in Public Relations, Marketing & Promotions, or Fund-raising required.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
Valid NYS driver’s license
