Alaant Director of Development and Fundraising in Saratoga Springs, New York

Hours and Benefits for the Director of Development and Fundraising:

  • $70,000 to $90,000 a year based on experience level

  • PTO, holidays off, & sick time

  • Health, Vision, and Dental benefits

Responsibilities for the Director of Development and Fundraising:

  • Identify and develop business support and corporate sponsorship

  • Maximize the community awareness and revenue streams necessary for a strong foundation

  • Plan, direct and evaluate all major special events in the community

  • Oversee two (2) direct reports; the Communications/Social Media Coordinator and the Special Events Coordinator

  • Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients

  • Work with other departments to promote individuals, staff, programs and the organization in general, through PR and marketing, networking and strategies to heighten awareness

  • Participate in Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, Association of Fundraising Professionals and other appropriate business and professional groups

  • Reports to the CEO

Requirements for the Director of Development and Fundraising:

  • Five (5)+ years of progressive experience in Public Relations, Marketing & Promotions, or Fund-raising required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related field

  • Valid NYS driver’s license
