Interim Head of Application Development

job summary:

Tatum's client, a publicly traded insurance company based in San Francisco is looking for a strong, hands-on Interim, possibly interim to perm Head of Application Development to join their team and work 100% remotely for the next 6+ months. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced, quickly evolving company to be an instrumental member of the team in promoting company growth and vision in a booming industry!

responsibilities:

The day-to-day responsibilities of the interim Head of Application Development would include: running the application development team and interacting with senior leadership, following Agile methodologies, hands-on cloud computing, and managing remote resources and adhering to aggressive timelines and deadlines.

qualifications:

Required Criteria:

  • 20+ years of a progressive technology leadership career at the VP/AVP Level of a large organization

  • Bachelor's of Accounting and/or similar field required; MBA preferred

  • Previous experience managing a team of 75-150 employees specifically in the application development space

  • Agile methodology experience - must be comfortable in all aspects

Preferred Criteria:

  • Insurance industry experience

  • Local to San Fran, Sacramento, Omaha, or Denver
