Oracle CX/Engagement Cloud/Technical Architect - Principal Consultant in San Francisco, California

An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and configures detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

A leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.

Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on customer engagements. Able to lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated Cloud solutions within constraints of time and budget. Configures and validates the Sales and Engagement Cloud application per customer requirements. Should be able to participate and lead mapping activities to integrate and migrate customers to and from legacy CRM or on-premise and Cloud application(s).Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more Cloud product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.

8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Extensive experience of Sales Force Automation (Oracle Sales Cloud and Engagement Cloud) is a must. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Hands on experience in Sales Force Automation products, preferably Cloud based solutions. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel.

Skill Set:

  • Min 7 years of strong development experience

  • Middleware, Oracle Integration Cloud, IDE -JDeveloper, strong J2EE,Java, XML development and Oracle Fusion Apps)

  • Knowledgeable and experienced with web services standards and technology including WSDL, SOAP, REST, XML-Schema, Web Services and WS standards.

  • JavaScript, JSON, XML, XSL.

  • Experience with tools such as JDeveloper, Eclipse, , Soap-UI. Integration experience with one of Oracle s application suites such as Siebel, CRM OnDemand, Oracle eBusiness, Oracle CPQ preferred. Ability to work with file based loads.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Understanding of Sales Force Automation (Oracle Sales Cloud and Engagement Cloud) is a must
