Paychex Implementation Specialist I in San Diego, California



The main responsibility of the Implementation Team is to successfully convert all new clients to Oasis' practices; develop a trusting/working co-employer relationship; monitor results including preparation of reports supporting successful new client implementations, integration of Oasis products and services, and related metrics. This position plays a major role in the development of implementation improvements strategies to increase these survey measurements. Must creatively and independently develop and offer ad hoc implementation and retention strategies. The Oasis Missions and Values are to be incorporated when processing internal and external customer service.

Business Contributions:

The output generated by this position is to ensure new clients are satisfied and actively engaged in Oasis services. Three major business contributions to Oasis Outsourcing are:

  • Successful on boarding of new clients

  • Integration of products, services, and timely deliverables

  • Client satisfaction and issue resolution

  • Encourages client referral generation/reference source through service obsessed service


On-boarding – client orientation

  • Manage and coordinate transition timelines for all new clients

  • Pre-orientation Questionnaire completion / client needs analysis

  • Transmit new client set up documents for client review and approval

  • Train client staff on their chosen payroll processing method

  • Ensure timely and accurate payrolls are processed using knowledge of payroll, taxes, workers'

comp, benefits, deductions, and Wage and Hour laws

  • Train client staff on current elected Oasis services

  • Follows up to ensure comprehension

  • Perform quality control audits

  • Prepares client launch to Oasis support team

  • Promote participation in new client survey

  • Remain current on all new Oasis product offerings and systematic/technical upgrades

Sales support and on-going maintenance

  • Make prospecting calls together with the PEC and Implementation Team to assess and strategize new client specifications

  • Assist with establishing new offices

  • Assist with team trainings

  • Maintain current payroll certifications

  • Industry and competitors practices
