Job Summary:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • In process Quality Performance Management and Development.

  • External Customer complaint window support.

  • Quality System Management ISO 9001, to develop program strategy and deploy processes .

  • Quality & Development, to stablish Inhouse assessment PPAP, and new product launch tools to ensure that products are delivered in accordance with established Quality Standards and customers’ specifications.

  • Lead in areas of in-process defect reduction, CAR, continuous improvement activities, and be a vital part of the overall cost of quality & manufacturing cost improvement initiatives.

  • To develop inhouse PPAP plan with new and existing process; Monitor & participate in design reviews, define safety & key characteristics, control plan, DFMEA, PFMEA, process flow, prototype development, etc.

  • Involve and maintains ISO (9001) quality. To meet company system standard. Involve in document control.

Among the different QA areas of responsibilities, she/he will:

  • Develop inhouse PPAP plan with new and existing process; Monitor & participate in Design reviews, Define Safety & key characteristics, Control plan, DFMEA, PFMEA, Process flow, Prototype development, etc. Assess gages & tooling, capacity constraints, facilities, resources & capabilities; Define, review and drive PPAP requirements. Control plan, Quality Risk Assessment.

In-Process Quality Performance Management & Customer complaint support

  • Perform quality audits and performance assessments in terms quality risks, challenges and back up plans. Lead quality events, product defects, or quality-related issues leading to delivery failures.

  • Work with QA supervisor, production supervisor, engineer on defect containment, determination of root cause, and implementation of robust corrective actions.

  • Utilize various tools to evaluate the effectiveness of the quality system including management reviews, internal audits, feedback from internal and external customers, warranty data, and traceability, etc.

  • Transferred Product Project in terms of quality procedure, processes and product quality issue related to ensure product quality reach out the product quality standard and meet customer’s requirements.

  • Interact jointly with related cross-functional team to drive project completion and operation processes run smoothly.

  • Subject to be a key person onproduct quality improvement, operation excellence and product quality assurance for competitive product excellence in domestic and export markets.

ISO (9001) Quality control

  • Control documents of ISO9001 quality system. Internal and external ISO9001 audit support activities. Corrective action related to the audits. Risk assessments of quality system. Support user requests for documentations. To ensure drawing, control plan, FMEA are update to deep drive quality system.

Quality control of new model evaluation

  • Support /Develop AQP plans for NPD programs; ensure resources are obtained as required. Develop, apply, review and challenge existing quality driven test systems and procedures to assure products meet intended use.

  • Coordinate containment and corrective and preventive actions in conjunction with all related functional groups and provide feedback to customer as required (close loop feedback)

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering preferred) or equivalent through experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Understanding of APQP, PPAP, ISO9001 standards , 8D, QC 7 tools and other quality tools

  • Extensive knowledge and experience with PPAP, and in applying quality tools such as SPC, 8D, Root-cause analysis, CAR , etc.

  • Broad range of tooling, manufacturing process, and workmanship standards experience.

  • ISO (9001) quality control standard, Document control system. Change control.

  • Internal audit and audit process. Corrective, preventive action and evaluation.

  • Experience with best-in-class manufacturing practices (Lean Manufacturing, visual management, data collection, material utilization, employee engagement, cross-training, standard work, Gage R&R, Calibration, etc.).

  • Professional approach to understand and resolve technical & non-technical issues with inhouse.

  • .Professional approach to work with internal & external team members with different responsibilities.

  • Exceptional listening, comprehension, and presentation skills – both verbal & written. Able to build rapport and elicit positive response from Customer.

  • Deep analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent leadership, Relationships and organizational skills

  • Hands-on with MS Office, etc.

  • Ability to travel and take care at Customer jobsite at short notice.

Languages:

  • Mandatory fluent in English, any other language is an asset.
