Job Summary

KUER90.1, theNPRmember station broadcasting from the University of Utah, is looking for a Marketing Office Assistant. The successful candidate will provide support to the Marketing/Events Department by providing clerical work in relation to marketing. Additional duties may include the preparation and distribution of promotional materials, community engagement outreach and assistance during fundraising efforts.

This position will run from August 2018 through April 2019.


- Input and manage e-newsletter email addresses

- Update and reorganizePSA/community calendar

- Assist with tabling responsibilities and local booth presence

- Maintain media contact lists for distributing press releases

- Assist with social media, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter

- Routinely provide metrics for organization’s efforts

- Assist with fund drives by way of helping with volunteers and securing food donations
