Job Description

This critical leadership role will be focused on driving our largest co-branded Credit Card relationship for the enterprise. This executive will manage all aspects of the partner relationship and be responsible for its continued growth and profitability across RPS (Retail Payment Services).

This leader will work directly with the partner to develop and execute strategic plans, develop world-class customer service experiences, ensure seamless partner integrations, and develop executive discussions while coordinating all internal and external actability associated with managing the portfolio. The position will manage a high-performing team dedicated to the relationship.

This role will continually monitor the effectiveness of our product, service delivery and customer experiences and drive internal and external changes to ensure world-class positioning in the industry.

Responsibilities and Competencies

  • Well-developed leadership abilities and strategic management skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication

  • Thorough knowledge of banking operations

  • Experience overseeing large successful card partnerships

  • Responsible for the administration of corporate policies and procedures and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations

  • Able to quickly integrate complex information and translate to business strategy

  • Demonstrate deep knowledge the payments industry, including current and future trends for digital payments and innovation in the financial services industry

  • knowledge of all payment instruments, their key attributes and restrictions, and

  • Exceptional influencing skills; adept at driving organizational change through partnership, collaboration and leadership rather than title or line authority

  • Builds trust-based relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organization

  • Gains commitment, trust and support from others by involving them in the thinking and the process

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of banking or other relevant work experience

  • 5+ years of management experience

  • BA/MBA in related field

  • Considerable tact, diplomacy, and people skills
