Job Description
Customer Solution for Industries (CS4I) Energy and Water delivers a wide range of services and innovative solutions to enable our customers in the utility industry to provide superior service and experience to their customers.
We are seeking a senior level Solution Architect to support our consulting sales practice in the Operations Technology solutions and has strong background on Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) and Distributed Energy Resources Management System (DERMS). As an acknowledged authority within Oracle, this senior level consulting position will work with the consulting sales teams globally, who are responsible for development and review of consulting sales bids. Externally, will work directly with customers, implementation teams, and partners in defining solution strategy, scope, and approach to address customer’s desired outcomes.
The OT Consulting Solutions Expert will also perform billable consulting roles on Operational Technology engagements, primarily providing solution assessments to customers and advisory services during the early phase of projects: solutioning, planning, and preparing the Oracle and client teams for upcoming project phases.
Position Overview
As a Sales Solutions Architect, you will be responsible in providing solutions to meet the customer’s desired outcomes by working closely with the sales reps and ensuring that we recommend the right strategy and approach in implementing our Energy and Water Network Management System (NMS) which includes Outage Management (OMS), Distribution Management System (DMS), Mobile Application (OMA), and DERMS.
Responsibilities
Sales support - analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Work with customers in defining strategic roadmaps to meet very complex needs. As a thought leader and trusted advisor, effectively influences difficult decisions at the leadership-level of customer organizations.
Business development - Enables business development efforts by providing feedback to product and delivery based on assessment of industry needs, market demands and knowledge of competitive product offerings.
Subject matter expertise - Can assist in resolving very complex customer escalations. Drives customer process direction and decisions by providing domain leadership within relevant industries on end-to-end enterprise solutions.
About you
You have 10+ years of industry experience including 5+ years of experience in DERMS and/or ADMS.
You are a pragmatic and practical self-starter; an outcomes-oriented person who can balance multiple workstreams, loves to problem-solve and can efficiently drive a collaborative process
You are an experienced presenter and can related to different audiences – senior leadership, business, and IT.
You are willing to travel occasionally to support sales activities and client meetings.
Strong background on Oracle Energy and Water Operation Technology products is an advantage.
Knowledge on competing software in DERMS and ADMS is an advantage.
Utility background working on Distributed Energy Resource (DER) and power generation is an advantage.

Hiring Range: from $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
