Summary

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Program Management as a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading, planning and executing assigned operational projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that the requirements of each department of Bell subsidiaries (company acquired and managed by Bell) are met for each project while ensuring the successful delivery of our solutions to our customers. Project management plans will include a project charter, project plan, change management plan, risk management plan, and implementation schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the full lifecycle of large scale and scope business projects

• Contribute to and represent stakeholder requirements on assigned projects

• Closing the gap between all stakeholders (Network, Marketing, Operations and IT)

• Evaluate and recommend scalable technical and business solutions to meet customer and business needs

• Manage business requirements and system design reviews, provide final sign-off and ensure all issues are documented and appropriate corrective actions are implemented.

• Provide regular project status update reports to the executive team

• Create a blended delivery plan with cross-functional business units to continuously build and maintain an integrated roadmap

• Ensure each project has a robust change management plan, so that resistance to change is proactively identified and addressed to achieve the project ROI

• Manage the financial aspects of programs and projects

• Manage a team of business analysts

Critical Qualifications

  • • Undergraduate degree in Business or related program•7 years experience in program and project delivery and management • 1-2 years experience in a team manager role• Bilingualism required: In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders• Business acumen and understanding of financial concepts inherent in project management• Have a confirmed strategic vision and make informed decisions, balancing technical feasibility with business requirements• Ability to prioritize and multitask directly or indirectly related to deliverables in a fast paced and constantly changing environment while dealing with changing priorities.• Strong leadership with the ability to inspire, coach, lead and build a cross-functional team with a common goal to improve the customer experience.• Strong problem solving attitude, ability to deal with ambiguity and focus on delivery is essential• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels of the organization and appropriate.• Team oriented, able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to bridge between technical and non-technical teams and influence stakeholders to build consensus

Preferred Qualifications

  • • Extensive project management and change management experience involving all aspects of projects,• Project Management Institute (PMP) certification• Experience in an Agile environment • Change Management certification (asset)• Knowledge of telecommunications products and services (asset)
