Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Sales and Customer Service, the Customer Retention Consultant is responsible for making sales that meet the customer’s needs while being profitable to the business and providing customer service to standards of excellence. The individual targets the customer’s needs and provides a compelling pitch to drive customer satisfaction and sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sell products and services according to customer needs
Retain customers who want to cancel or reduce their products and services
Perform post-sales service activities (solve customer problems or refer them to the department concerned)
Manage customer administrative files
Critical Qualifications
Excellent communication skills
Convince yourself with a skillful argument, excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, and perseverance in achieving your objectives
Analytical skills and good judgment in the handling of your files
Strong organizational skills and a methodical approach to administrative tasks and working with numbers excite you
Strong teamwork, collaboration and versatility
1-3 years of experience in handling past due accounts and/or retaining customers
Highschool Diploma
Ease of learning and using various computer software
Strong command of French
Knowledge of English and French, in the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders
Available employment terms
Full-time, 40 hours/week
Position related to the Saint-Hyacinthe office (Workways profile working remotely)
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
