Cargill Build Project Engineer in Słupca, Poland

Job Purpose and Impact

The Build Project Engineer will oversee and handle the operational aspects of ongoing building industrial projects, serving as liaison among project management and planning, project team and line management. We seek a professional with strong engineering and project management background who will provide strategic vision, reviewing the project proposal to resolve time frame, funding limitations and procedures for accomplishing the project.

You will be based in our meat factory Konspol Holding in Slupca.

Possibility of hybrid work.

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify and resolve obstacles to completing project on time and to budget.

  • Adhere to internal and external quality standards.

  • Monitor and report on the status of industrial projects including cost, timing and staffing and make needed corrections for low to medium complexity Build projects.

  • Organize project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules, and resolve resource requirements.

  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives

  • Ensures the Build project meets the operability requirements laid out in the project objectives by the business.

  • Champions and reinforces Cargill’s behavioral based safety process and zero fatalities throughout every phase of Build projects.

  • Ensures Build projects are planned and executed in compliance with laws and regulations.

  • Provides overall leadership to ensure consistency in the development of the capital planning process for base and non-base capital projects.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience industrial engineering or mechanical/process engineering

  • Minimum of 4 years of related work experience in food/pharmaceutical or FMCG environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

  • 5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects in industry/ mechanic or electrical engineering

  • Experience in setting priorities for brownfield projects (revamping), construction of new lines

  • Experience in project management from beginning to the end, including crucial stages

  • In project portfolio proven at least 1 industrial $500k

  • Experience in cooperation with contractors and engineering services providers

  • Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations in English and Polish (written, verbal and presentation)

  • Organizational and communication skills

  • Project management skill

  • Work in Proactive ,Creative and enthusiastic

  • Able to work independence
