Founded in 2017 by entrepreneurs, investors, and executives with a passion for creating sustainable electric vehicle solutions. Our client is focused on adaptable, eco-friendly solutions that can impact change in campus, last-mile delivery, and micro distribution.
The successful candidate will first be involved in the design and development of our client’s new all electric low speed vehicle.
The position will involve a challenging mix of integration of vehicle sub-systems, such as braking and drivetrain, and testing for system verification and validation.
The role will also involve coordination activities with our partners and customer support.
You will need vehicle embedded system engineering and development experience, including programming experience.
You will work cross-functionally between engineering, quality assurance and customer programs to bring innovative systems to life.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or similar discipline
5 or more years of experience in vehicle control system design and development
Experience performing vehicle testing in different environments
Bench testing, Hardware-in-the-loop, Software-in-the-loop testing
Experience with data acquisition systems, CAN and J1939 communication protocols
Familiarity with FMEA, DOE, V&V, DVP&R, etc.
Programming experience, primarily in support of modeling and control design
About this position
$85,000 - $135,000 annual salary plus up to 15% bonus
