Responsibilities

The Senior Technical Product Manager for AI Accelerator engages/partners with stakeholders to understand business problems and value drivers and sets the strategic direction for Mayo Clinic Florida-based AI projects & products. The Senior Technical Product Manager develops and manages the AI Accelerator product roadmaps, identifies features required to deliver incremental value, leads development teams through delivery, and measures/monitors value delivery and ROI for AI Accelerator projects & products.

Responsible for driving the vision, strategy and technical roadmap that supports business requirements, execution and delivery of assigned technical product/capability. Advocates for the end user experience through data and research driven product discovery and development methods. Ensures alignment between Engineering, Data Science, Product, Business and Platform/Property priorities in context of Mayo Clinic's overall strategy and goals, ensuring the end-user needs are met. Oversees the entire life cycle of the assigned technology product, from defining setting the vision, contributing to OKRs, deriving feature intention maps, managing capacity against scope, building/acquiring the technology - and ultimately creating a best in class user/customer experience, on time and within budget. Leads agile product methodologies. Works with Technology Architects, Engineers, Data Scientists , Experience Design, Content and Digital Analytics leaders. Accountable to the success of a cross-functional team including experts in design, engineering, data engineers, data scientists, and others. Recruits, hires, and mentors members of the team. Responsible for driving the technical product strategy, vision, design, and development execution. Ensure delivery of high-value products in alignment with business goals and user experience optimization. Leads a high performing cross-functional team effectively and efficiently that is collaborative with business partners, customers, and other stakeholders. Leverages market and customer feedback and data to guide future product/feature development. Advocate for end-users, and improves features based on their pain points -strives to make product technology and workflows easy to use. Ability to establish deep partnerships with business stakeholders to ensure product achieves business requirements and aligns to other organizational strategies and priorities. Proactively manages product and operational risks (regulatory, security, operational, etc.) in order to mitigate risks to the customer and business. Monitors and manages product schedules, scopes and budgets and delivering as scheduled. Manages external Mayo Clinic vendor and partnership relationships as assigned. Sets and manages to product performance scorecards and OKRs. Quickly build credibility and partnership with key internal partners and leaders. Understands and applies current digital technology design, build, and operations capabilities and requirements. Able to effectively communicate and translate a technical product/capability vision, strategy, and design with engineering partners. Actively seeks to understand new and emerging technologies, their capabilities, pros/cons, and potential applicability to Mayo Clinic digital product needs (now & future). Capable of creative problem solving to create software solutions that are simple, engaging and create value to the end users. Proficient in guiding and leading engineering, data science teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 5+ yrs of technical digital product management experience (5 yrs with digital products and platforms); or minimum of 9 years direct digital product management with HS diploma/GED required.

  • Prior health care experience preferred. Experience in managing complex products or a family of multiple products required.

  • Expert knowledge of the SDLC.

  • Experience working with Epic or other complex EHR systems.

  • Certification in Scrum Product Owner within 1 year

Compensation Detail

$122,387.20 - $177,444.80 / year. Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
