Position description This position is remote but the individual must be within a commutable distance to either the AZ, FL or Rochester, MN Campus. The Senior Digital Production Specialist is responsible for the daily design and production of content to fulfill publishing plansand meet the highest quality standards.Responsibilities include ensuring alignment of web design with user experience requirements. Developing features to enhance the user experience.Accountable for accurate and timely production of assigned content and maintaining brand consistency across web pages. Optimizes web pages for maximum efficiency and usability using data analytics. Builds, edits and troubleshoots in HTML and CSS as needed. Convers text to HTML or XML as dictated by publishing tools and inserting all associated assets (images, video, hyperlinks, tables, etc.). Troubleshoots technical support requests, works with colleagues and customers to resolve issues, and communicates resolution with customer. Manages time and sets priorities to meet publishing plans. Interfaces regularly with colleagues who are located on all three campuses to perform job responsibilities requiring virtual collaboration and partnership. Participates in continuous process improvement. Performs other duties as needed.

Qualifications The Senior Digital Production Specialist requires a 2 Year AA (Associates Degree) in web design, computer science, or related field with 3 years work experience in a production/publishing related field or 7 years work experience in a production/media-related field.

Incumbents must demonstrate good technical production skills and proficiency with advanced coding languages (HTML, CSS, Javascript, and jQuery).

Additional qualifications Knowledge of key design principles and experience with responsive and adaptive design.

Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Must have an understanding of SharePoint, SEO principles, and Project management.

Must demonstrate initiative and accountability for assigned tasks yet take direction well.

Must possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, spelling and grammar, and organizational skills.

Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment, along with Background in health or science-related information or understanding of medical terminology is helpful.

Exemption status Non-exempt

Compensation Detail Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $30.55 per hour.

Schedule details Monday - Friday. 8 hour shift between the hours of 7am -5pm
