Position description Join the Emerging Products team to build the next level patient and provider experience in Center for Digital Health (CDH) at Mayo Clinic. Be where the future is. The ideal candidate shall possess strong experience and interest in physical + digital user experience design, fluent in designing across phone, desktop, tablet, wearable, touch, voice, SMS, assisted channels, RFID, paging, 5G etc. The successful candidate will also possess strong collaboration skills with technology, clinical operations and data experts.

Advocates for the end user experience through data and research driven product discovery and development methods. Ensures alignment between Product, Business and Platform/Property priorities in context of Mayo Clinic's overall strategy and goals, while ensuring the end-user needs are met. Oversees the entire life cycle of the assigned product, from defining setting the vision, managing team to hit OKRs, deriving feature intention maps, managing capacity against scope, building/acquiring the technology - and ultimately creating a best in class user/customer experience, while on time and within budget. Leads agile product methodologies. Works with IT, Experience Design, Content and Digital Analytics leaders. Accountable to the success of a cross-functional team including, including experts in design, engineering, marketing, and others. Recruits, hires, and mentors members of the team. Responsible for driving the product strategy, vision, design, and development execution.
Ensure delivery of high-value products in alignment with business goals and user experience optimization. Leads a high performing cross-functional team effectively and efficiently that is collaborative with business partners, customers, and other stakeholders (Engineering, UX/UI, Operations, Engagement, AI, etc.) Leverages market and customer feedback and data to inform and guide future product/feature development. Advocate for end-users, and builds and improves features based on their pain points -strives to make product technology and workflows easy to use. Ability to establish deep partnerships with business stakeholders to ensure product achieves business requirements and aligns to other organizational strategies and priorities. Proactively manages and monitors product and operational risks (regulatory, security, operational, etc.) in order to prevent and/or mitigate risks to the customer and business. Monitors and manages product schedules, scopes and budgets and delivering as scheduled. Manages external Mayo Clinic vendor and partnership relationships as assigned. Sets and manages to product performance scorecards and OKRs. Quickly build credibility and partnership with key internal partners and leaders. Understands and applies current digital technology design, build, and operations capabilities and requirements. Able to effectively communicate and translate a product vision, strategy, and design with engineering partners. Actively seeks to understand new and emerging technologies, their capabilities, pros/cons, and potential applicability to Mayo Clinic digital product needs (now & future). Capable of creative problem solving to create software solutions that are simple, engaging and create value to the end users. Proficient in guiding and leading complex engineering teams.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (business, communications, advertising, marketing, statistics, engineering, technology, health care). 7+ year of digital product management experience, with minimum of 5 years with digital products and platforms. Experience in managing complex products or a family of multiple products.
Additional qualifications Digital product and people leadership experience (direct or indirect). Prior Digital Senior Product Management experience or equivalent role. Preference for health care experience (clinical, management, technology, other) from some Product Manager roles. Experience in design thinking methodologies
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships at multiple levels of the organization. Strong communicator (written & verbal) with active listening skills. Ability to facility group/team discussions. Professional and reflects Mayo Clinic values and beliefs. Strong planning and organizational skills.
Visionary, Proactive, and problem solver. Ability to effectively negotiate, strong conflict resolution skills, strong attention to detail and multitasking skills, and works well under pressure.

Compensation Detail Required education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The salary range every 2 weeks is approx. $5,312-$7,702.40 based on a full-time position.
