Mayo Clinic Pediatric Endocrinologist in Rochester, Minnesota

Responsibilities

The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at the Mayo Clinic is seeking candidates who are board-certified/board-eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology and who are committed to excellence in patient care, including the care of children with diabetes. Participation in research, quality activities and education is expected. The candidate will join a well-established team of 6 pediatric endocrinologists who work together to provide high quality care to children and adolescents in their respective clinical area of expertise.

The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology provides inpatient and outpatient Pediatric Endocrinology specialty care to infants, children and adolescents with a variety of common and complex endocrine conditions. The outpatient practice includes both general endocrinology and several multispecialty clinics including the Diabetes Clinic, Brain Tumor Clinic, Metabolic Bone Disorders Clinic, Thyroid Nodule Clinic, Transgender and Intersex Specialty Care Clinic, Weight Management/Bariatric Clinic and Lipid Clinic. A formal diabetes transition clinic has been established for adolescents and young adults with diabetes. The Pediatric Endocrinology division is consistently ranked in U.S. News & World Report. There is ready-access to advanced diagnostic laboratory and imaging modalities, including access to the endocrine testing unit. The Pediatric Endocrinology division also has an ACGME accredited Pediatric Endocrinology fellowship program.

Qualifications

Candidates must be board certified / board eligible with the American Board of Pediatrics and be licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of Minnesota.
