Responsibilities

The Medical Imaging Analyst I will utilize both commercially available and proprietary image registration, image analysis, and depending upon assignment, tracer kinetic modeling software. The Analyst is responsible for ensuring high standards of data collection, image reconstruction, and data analysis. The incumbent is the main person responsible for both routine and non-routine data processing and analysis of images in our research programs. Depending upon assignment, may perform work in neural disorders, Alzheimer's Disease, kinetic studies, and other areas.

Qualifications

A Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics, or other related field of study is required. Additional graduate study or course work in specialty area or M.S. or equivalent is preferred. Knowledge of basic mathematics and proficiency with computers are required. Direct experience in one of these areas is desired: Biomedical imaging, MRI imaging, image processing, database management.

Qualifications preferred:

Knowledge of programming, specifically MATLAB

Direct experience in one of these areas is desired: MRI imaging, image processing, and/or database management, capability of working with CT and micro-CT images.

Compensation Detail

Pay range: $26.77 - $40.16 / hour. Experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
