Position description
Coordinate operations of allied health staff for a department/division in alignment with institutional and department/division mission, vision, and objectives. Serves as a key member of the leadership team with a primary focus on planning and implementation of policies and systems. Facilitates project management while leading a multidisciplinary team including financial analysis, problem solving, and team collaboration. Regulates staffing in accordance with fluctuating workload. Partners in the support of department/division and institutional projects, staff recruitment, policy implementation, and serves as a primary resource for issues and communications. Performs duties independently and initiates judgment in handling a variety of management issues. Direct reports include operational and/or other department/division personnel. Ensures collaborative engagement across teams inside and outside of Treasury, with open knowledge sharing either through formal meetings or informal lines of communications. Provide guidance and support for ongoing strategic projects within the company, such as global expansion. Work collaboratively and responsively with business units to ensure appropriate solutions are provided in a timely manner.
Position requires occasional travel to meet with financial institutions and Mayo Clinic leadership at all locations and attend seminars, meetings and other professional education opportunities.
*This position works remotely 50% or more; business needs require the employee to live within a reasonable driving distance to the Rochester, MN campus. *
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree is required for this position, minimum of 5 years relevant experience working in business, financial or risk management roles. Preferred Master's degree in Business or Healthcare field as well as international banking and/or treasury management healthcare management experience with strong leadership, team building, and problem-solving skills as well as demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple disciplines, i.e., physician, administrative, supervisory, and allied health staff. Must have excellent communication, organizational and human relation skills. Requires excellent decision-making and judgment capabilities. Must have broad based knowledge of office support and computer systems.
Additional qualifications
Strong analytical, problem solving, and systems analysis skills are required. Previous experience in project management, treasury management and banking is desired. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work effectively in a team-based environment in both lead and subordinate roles. Candidate must demonstrate an ability to function in a self-directed manner in a multi-task environment. Ability to think critically and develop creative solutions to solve banking-related needs, while challenging the status quo. Strong interpersonal skills needed to deal effectively and collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization, as well as to build and grow relationships with external vendors. Client focused with a demonstrated ability to listen, assess and respond to client needs. Intermediate to advance knowledge of MS office products, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel and Internet banking products.
Preferred Qualifications:
Accreditation as a Certified Treasury Professional
Project and/or product management experience
Experience working in international treasury management
Commercial and/or Corporate Banking experience
