Position description The Division Chair (Executive Director) of Consulting Services leads the function of management consulting for the Mayo Clinic enterprise. This position leads a versatile team of health care systems engineers, management consultants and subject matter experts who work closely within the operations of sites, shields and business units. The Consulting Services division integrates multiple disciplines to study and solve complex problems and optimize processes using a system approach:
Ethnography, observational studies and design thinking
Governance, organizational structure, management and partnership models
Process improvement and optimization
Clinical care redesign
Advanced analytics and artificial intelligence
Benchmark and data analysis
Managed services application and infrastructure
Policy and procedure design and implementation
Implementation planning and execution
Qualifications + Master’s degree in related field
Five years of people leadership experience
Ten years of healthcare experience in business consulting, operations, systems or process engineering, staffing optimization, process change, systems evaluation and implementation
Additional qualifications + Strong alignment with Mayo’s core values.
Successful track record in people leadership, diverse talent development and team performance excellence.
Excellent communication, network and influencer skills, including the ability to work effectively in a collaborative matrix management environment.

Schedule details M-F, day shift. This position may work remotely 75% of the time, with an expectation of 25% on-campus work and/or business travel. The preference is for this individual to be located proximal to the Arizona, Florida or Rochester campus.
