Responsibilities
Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is seeking an outstanding Child and Adolescent Psychologist specializing in disruptive behavior disorders to join the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology.
The successful applicant will join an energetic and collegial group of twelve (12) child psychologists, twelve (12) child psychiatrists, and many allied health clinicians within the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology. The primary role of the psychologist is to develop, evaluate, and co-lead a child and adolescent disruptive behavior disorder program that provides comprehensive and multi-disciplinary care for children and adolescents. Clinical activities include conducting multidisciplinary evaluations of complex pediatric behavioral disorders, developing an outpatient treatment program for youth with behavioral disorders, providing and supervising ongoing treatment, and consulting to the inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric hospital regarding behavior management. Interested applicants can also join an initiative to develop a digital platform to increase access to evidence-based mental health care for children and adolescents. Mayo Clinic offers opportunities in leadership, program development, and research. Educational and supervision opportunities are abundant within the Medical Psychology Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program and with other trainees. The position carries an academic appointment in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, rank commensurate with experience.

Qualifications
Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota and be Board-certified/Board-eligible through the American Board of Professional Psychology. Requirements for the position include completion of an APA or CPA accredited doctoral program and internship. Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in multidisciplinary clinical, educational, and research collaboration and excellent interpersonal communication and leadership abilities.
