Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning, analyzing and timely completion of assigned activities.

  • Responsible for estimating and developing the installation of various equipment.

  • Communicates with customers and their representatives, including building owners, subcontractors, and field support staff.

  • Ensures compliance with internal contracting processes.

  • Supports Account Managers in developing and establishing project installation budgets.

  • Responsible for the preparation of material and equipment procurement upon project inception.

  • Supports Account Managers in preparing the sub-contractor request for quotation’s (RFQ) including: scope statements; plans and milestone dates; specs; permitting and bonding requirements.

  • Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers or their representative.

  • Provides guidance and support to installation team to ensure project is completed as designed.

  • Flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required.

  • Some travel with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications:

Key Competencies:

Associates degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school in engineering or construction management and 6 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and engineering drawing tools. Some computer programming experience is required. Familiarity with the concepts of new construction, renovation/retrofit; performance contracting, and service project management.

Must possess the communication skills and level of literacy, scientific knowledge and mathematical skills commensurate with the completion of High School and/or higher level education. Must have a general knowledge of basic engineering, electricity, mechanical HVAC systems and the building construction industry.
