About the Opportunity
The SAS Department has an immediate opening for an Application Support Specialist – Senior/Intermediate, reporting to a Senior Manager.
This role provides testing support for our external customers across an array of testing campaigns, ensuring the safety and integrity of the service. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships directly with our customers and provide outstanding service.
What You Will Do:
Direct testing activities (DI tests, ORTs, or special testing campaigns), broker complex relationships with customers, and troubleshoot issues. Accountable for testing communication and issue escalation.
Actively engage our customers to understand their emerging testing needs. Represent the Voice of the Customer (VOC) for product development.
Develop test strategies and leverage standard and consistent approaches for testing
Mentor junior staff and promote a learning culture
Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities
BA/BS preferred or equivalent work experience
3-5 years of experience supporting customers with a record of providing outstanding service
Prior work experience supporting testing initiatives
Understanding of payments systems or systems with equivalent complexity required
Understanding of integration software (messaging, file, or API) accompanied with an inquisitive and persistent mindset required to successfully troubleshoot issues.
Prior experience working with Kanban for managing workflow as well as exposure to Agile methodologies desired
Strong written and communication skills necessary to communicate with customers, demonstrate customer empathy, probe for service improvement opportunities, cultivate partnerships with customers, and influence others for mutually beneficial outcomes.
Strong attention to detail to ensure all tasks and deliverables are completed to successfully deliver services for our customers

The hiring range of the Application Support Specialist, Sr. is $57,000 - $71,300 annually.
Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications/experience.
