Job Summary

There is one position which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successfulcandidateseducation, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities

Responsibilities:

  • The Enterprise/Web administrator supports multiple IIS environments.

  • Primary duties include the installation, configuration, and administration of Microsoft IIS web server.

  • Supported technologies include IIS, Oracle WebLogic Server, Apache, SiteMinder and F5 Big-IP LTM appliances.

  • Microsoft .Net windows service installation, administration, and support required.

  • Strong Troubleshooting skills.

  • PowerShell skills (nice to have).

  • Microsoft Windows Server OS migration experience (2012 to 2019).

  • Good understanding of Microsoft Group Policy management (nice to have).

  • Provide support for a Life Cycle Management projects involving websites hosted on IIS webserver.

  • Additional duties include the support and configuration of web servers and load balancers, process documentation, task automation, and performing client work requests.

  • Production support, including off-hours as needed to ensure the service availability and be part of 24/7 on-call support.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Software System Eng -3+ years or Senior Software System Eng - 5+ years working with and supporting web applications, while possessing the knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures to carry out all aspects of the Web Administrator job.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in administering Microsoft IIS web server technology.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in IIS with Security & Log Analysis.

  • 2 to 3 years of working experience with F5 Load-balancers, Apache & one of the JAVA application server.

  • Strong knowledge of PowerShell Scripting & Automation.

  • Experience with Windows Task Scheduler.

  • Working knowledge of web security technologies and best practices.

  • Support the various applications and respond to requests for optimization, tuning, monitoring, and resolving issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in installing, maintaining, administrating, and troubleshooting CA SiteMinder and LDAP technologies in a fast paced customer facing operational environment.

  • Experience with F5 Big-IP LTM appliances

  • Experience with either Oracle WebLogic or IBM WebSphere Application Server.

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined.

Education Requirements

Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor , Other Education: Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems
