Job Description:

The Sr. Payroll Process Improvement Analyst drives change in new and existing payroll processes and initiatives in a fast paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter who demonstrates creative thinking when exploring solutions for process challenges and issues. Under the direction of the Director-Payroll, the Payroll Process Improvement Analyst will work closely with Human Resources, Finance and the business segments within Performance Food Group to achieve best in class outcomes that elevate the company's corporate payroll processes.

Identify process improvement opportunities through partnering with business users and understanding current and future business requirements. Analyze, test and execute payroll process improvement initiatives. Serve as lead on project teams in support of this work.

Optimize technology to ensure the greatest positive impact on the user experience and to gain the greatest efficiencies. Partner with Payroll management to develop payroll business requirements, process flows, standard operating procedures, etc.

Develop approach for test cases, lead testing of new payroll systems, enhancements, upgrades, integrations and reviews and communicate results. Develop training materials and process guidelines, as appropriate.

Develop metrics and a dashboard to track progress on various initiatives.

Partner with General Ledger team to identify and resolve Payroll GL account-based issues.

Provide information for internal and external Audit inquiries and SOX compliance testing

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors

Bachelors degree or equivalent

3 - 5 Years

Demonstrated process improvement and project management experience with positive results

Ability to drive success through influence without direct reporting relationships

Payroll systems experience (ADP, UKG, Workday, etc.)

Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Individual leadership skills and ability to work in team environments
