ColonialWebb is now seeking an experienced Sr. Project Manager/Project Executive ready to take the next step in his/her career and join our leadership team in our Special Projects Division.
As a Project Executive for our Special Projects division, you will take oversee and mentor our team of Project Managers, who manage multiple mechanical and electrical projects. This position will also directly manage some of the larger, more complex projects up to $3M in value per project.

Some travel is required within the Central Virginia area to visit jobsites
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field
5+ years of extensive experience/knowledge of construction, design, and cost management
Strong commercial MEP contracting knowledge with understanding of operational excellence
Extensive understanding of industry codes, local regulations related to construction trades.
Advanced knowledge of construction, design, finance, and project management.
Advanced ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize performance.
Ability to work on multiple projects at one time
Proficient in change order management and billings
Demonstrated responsibility for projects lasting a year or more.
Demonstrate acumen for business to include knowledge and interest of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, accounting, cost forecasting, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources.
Ability to deal diplomatically with internal and external customers at various levels within an organization—i.e., owners, GC’s, subcontractors, engineers, superintendents, draftsmen, etc.
Client management skills; able to manage customer relationships, perceptions, and expectations.
Ability to visualize, plan, and execute to achieve budgeted goals.
Ability to maintain a sense of urgency, but remain calm, when handling emergencies.
Excellent oral and written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Valid Driver’s License
