The Enterprise Logging, Monitoring and Analytics has an immediate opening for an Enterprise logging and analytics product owner position reporting to Assistant Vice President.
The Federal Reserve System’s cloud provides a centralized logging platform housing advanced analytics solution for business lines in the Federal Reserve System. We work with state-of-the-art technologies that are part of the next generation data ecosystem, which includes services used for data storage, processing, integration, and data analytics.
This role specifically focuses on the success of the logging and analytics platform in Cloud and is tasked with interfacing with businesses and technology communities. This role will function as an Agile product owner. You will work cross-functionally with other product owners, architects, product managers, design engineers, developers, and operations in a rapidly evolving environment. As a Product Owner, you will be accountable to grow secure and scalable products, direct Agile backlogs and stories, maintain effective communication with businesses, document business needs and drive necessary products features through an Agile release train process.
This role will be instrumental in shaping the direction of enterprise logging, monitoring and analytics in Cloud. As a part of the National IT team, you will be working with multiple technology partners and business lines, our Board, and IT groups from Federal Reserve System districts. You will have an opportunity to showcase your critical thinking and relationship skills across many disciplines and across the Federal Reserve System.
What You Will Do:
Fluently engage in detailed discussion with technology and business teams across the Federal Reserve System to interpret product needs
Articulate the business and technical vision of the product
Partner with business lines to ensure requirements are understood and met
Document and get buy-in on product feature needs
Be responsible for stakeholder management, communication, and business satisfaction with products
Participate with other product owners to manage an Agile release train
Manage Agile product backlog to ensure transparency and accuracy of upcoming work
Develop product roadmaps in alignment with other data ecosystem subproducts and business roadmaps
Engage with Senior Executives, business leaders at the Federal Reserve and the Board to share the business value.
Demonstrate leadership, collaboration, exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to gain consensus and produce the best solutions
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience; advance degree preferred
Seven or more years of experience in designing and building large-scale solutions in an enterprise setting in both
Three years in designing and building solutions in the cloud
Hands-on experience with Airflow, VPC/SG, EC2, S3, AutoScaling, CloudFormation, Kinesis,Redshift, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Docker, Lambda, Spark, Glue,
Must have a strong background or demonstrate sufficient knowledge of networking and security in a cloud environment
Experience with leveraging CI/CD pipelines
Strong background in data structures, networking, performance, and scalability.
Microservices experience is strongly preferred
Experience with Agile methodologies and able to work in an Agile manner is preferred
One or more cloud certifications
