Job Summary

Researches topics and prepares speeches, corporate reports, corporate publications, presentations, and executive correspondence for the Dominion Energy senior executives. Ensures all speeches, presentations, and written communication are appropriate to the speaker and the audience, while incorporating management's philosophy and delivery style.

Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:

Rising Sophomores, Juniors, or Seniors

Working toward a bachelor’s degree in English, History, Government, Journalism, Literature, Writing, Communications or similar majors.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills.

Creative and effective writer, capable of producing compelling, leadership-driven communications.

Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at all professional levels, both internally and externally.

Highly flexible, comfortable working with ambiguity, frequently-changing timetables, and short deadlines.

Advanced ability to conceptualize and write in various styles, applying copy, content ideas, and solutions to design presentations, copy or executive speeches.

Ability to grasp technical and abstract concepts quickly.

Education Requirements

Rising Sophomores, Juniors, or Seniors

Working toward a bachelor’s degree in English, History, Government, Journalism, Literature, Writing, Communications or similar majors.

Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description
