Hanford Mission Integration Solutions Consultant/Independent Assmnt 34312 in Richland, Washington

Job Duties/Scope Of WorkHanford Mission Integration Solution (HMIS) is seeking an Assessment and Contractor Assurance Specialist to perform assessments in support of oversight of the HMIS contractor assurance and quality assurance programs and other regulatory requirements. The selected candidate may also provide technical support for the corrective action management program, including screening of issues, causal analysis, trending and close out of issues. This role will include but may not be limited to the following activities: 1) Perform formal and documented assessments including but not limited to audits, effectiveness reviews, surveillances and management assessments, including – Scheduling the assessment - Preparing a written plan and lines of inquiry for the assessment - Coordinating open, closing and progress meeting - Prepare and issue formal written reports of assessment results to responsible organization/project and senior management - Provide review and follow-up actions related to assessment findings 4) Perform Effectiveness Reviews for Corrective Action Plans associated with Significant Issues 5) Perform Environmental Management System (EMS) compliance assessments for HMIS and OHCs 6) Maintain familiarity with contract, consensus codes and standards in support of work scopeBasic Qualifications1) Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. This experience must include a Minimum 2 year’s assessment/auditing experience2) Working knowledge of NQA-1, DOE O 414.1D, DOE O 226.1B and other nationally recognized Quality standardsDesired Qualifications1) Qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor 2) Previous operations oversight experience 3) Knowledge of Hanford operations 4) Qualification as ISO 14001 Lead Auditor 5) Previous experience in software quality assurance 6) Possess critical thinking and problem solving skills 7) Strong relational skills within a team environment and with clients are essential 8) Excellent communication skills 9) Experience with statistical methods and analysis desired EEOE/Females/Minorities/Veterans/Disabled.
