Best Buy Co., Inc. has an opening working for and based out of its corporate headquarters as a Multi Factor & Adaptive Authentication Engineer. This position provides a telecommuting benefit allowing the employee to reside anywhere in the United States, but the employee must physically report to Best Buy headquarters in Richfield, Minnesota at least once every fiscal quarter. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system. Develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures. Direct software programming and development of documentation. Integrate and configure applications with SecureAuth IDP. Configure, manage, and troubleshoot issues with SecureAuth IDP. Develop MFA Authentication framework for web-based applications integrated with other IDP (Identity Provider) solutions. Engage in detailed engineering to meet business requirements in implementing SSO (single sign-on) and MFA (multi-factor authentication) capabilities. Provide level 3/level 4 escalated support for SSO and MFA capabilities to help resolve issues experienced by business and technology teams. Coordinate installation of software systems and advise on maintenance of system. Full Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a closely-related IT discipline, or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience in one of the fields listed above, plus at least three (3) years of experience in computer systems administration for large corporations and supporting high-volume systems based requests through resolution and working with SecureAuth, IDP, MFA products (RSA, Ping, and/or OAAM) and Federation Protocols (SAML, WS-Fed and/or OAUTH). Experience must also include working with the following: (1) evaluating SSO webservices and new authentication and authorization features of SSO (Rest Certificate Authentication, Federation Services and/or OpenID); (2) setting up PING Access in clustered environments; (3) Implementing and supporting PingID credentials to enable multi-factor authentication for Windows, UNIX and/or Linux; (4) coordinating infrastructure setups using Citrix ADC platforms and/or F5 ADC; and (5) Evaluating various SSO products in the market for modern & seamless authentication patterns to rationalize the current environment and reduce overall risk to the enterprise. Involves incidental domestic travel to company headquarters at least once per quarter.
